Religious Education -- Faith Formation

Registration Forms for 2026-2027 are available in all churches and the office.

Religious Education Classes Grades 1-8

All CCD classes are held at the CCD Center located at 321 E Cypress St. in Riviera, Texas
Classes held on Wednesdays during the school year:

4:00pm for Grades 1-5

6:00pm for Grades 6-8, Confirmation, and High School Post Confirmation

Sacrament Preparation for 1st Communion & 1st Penance

Wednesdays:

4:00pm for students preparing for Sacraments of Initiation:  First Penance and First Communion

The parish is the center of faith formation for Catholics. Every person in your pews, every Catholic in your parish community…child or adult…is on their own journey toward Christ and a life of discipleship.

Wednesdays:

6:00pm for students preparing for the Sacrament of Confirmation. 

This is a 2 year program for the youth.

High School Youth after Confirmation

Wednesdays: 
6:00pm for students after Confirmation until they graduate from high school.
